Heinz Burum, German trumpeter, member of the Cologne Philharmonic Orch in 1929, played in some dance bands, played at the Metropole Theatre in Berlin in 1932, principal of the Sinfonieorchester des Deutschlandsenders Berlin in 1934, member of the Bruckner Orch of Linz (1943-45), played with the Würtembergisches Staatstheater (1945-70), taught at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart (1946-77), died in Düren, Germany.
