David Bartholomew, American jazz and early rock trumpeter and songwriter, served in the Army band program during WWII, formed his own jazz band after his service, known for recordings with Fats Domino during 1950s and 60s, collaborated with many other artists, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991, born in Edgard, Louisiana.
