Walter Rogers, American cornetist, played with sever bands after studies, formed the Schubert Brass Quartet with Herbert Clarke, joined Cappa’s Seventh Regiment Band at 20 years old, toured with Sousa’s band in Europe, became music director of the Victor Phonograph Company and then director of Paramount Record Co, Emerson Phonograph Co and Brunswick Phonograph Co, died in Brooklyn, New York.
