Lloyd Geisler, American trumpeter, principal in the National Symphony Orchestra (1936-69), played in US Navy Band during WWII, assistant conductor for the NSO in 1957, associate conductor in 1961, retired from the NSO in 1973, taught at Peabody and Catholic University of America, first president of the ITG, performed anthem at 1968 Super Bowl III, died in Brackney, Pennsylvania.
